My Madison 14 years ago today I stood in a hospital room in California. I was getting ready to be a daddy for the first time. Over the months leading up to the birth of my little girl I felt like I knew her already. I spent a lot of time placing my ear against my wife's belly just to hear and feel her move around. I spoke to her and prayed for her many nights even while my wife was asleep. My little girl took my breath then and she still takes my breath today. The moment I saw her for the first time I cried with the greatest joy I had ever felt. She changed my life in one moment of time and she still has that affect on me today. Madison, I'm so proud of you. I'm proud to call you my daughter and I love you with all of my heart. Life has great things for you and I can't wait to cheer you on. I hope this day for you is a great one and I just wanted you to know that I love you with all of my soul. I pray for you daily and I...

A242 This Sunday Feb 28th at The Salt Mine Church I will be starting a new four week series. Using Acts 2:42 as the foundation. Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. I will take our church through the four foundational marks of the early church. We will take a look at the fruit it produced in their lives and communities and we will look at how it can still do the same today in our lives and communities. We will center in on what the true church is. The true church is you and I living these four marks each and everyday until Jesus comes again.
